George L. Sing

CEO, co-founder

Mr. Sing is a co-founder and CEO of Stemnion. Prior to Stemnion, he co-founded Lancet Capital, a biomedical early stage venture capital fund which is the seed investor in Stemnion. Mr. Sing has served executive operating roles in several technology-based companies as well as board director of both private and public companies, and currently is a director of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He was co-founding Partner of Advanced Technology Ventures and Merrill Lynch Venture Capital, Inc. Mr. Sing has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

 

William J. Golden, CFA

Executive Vice President, co-founder

Mr. Golden is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Stemnion.  Prior to Stemnion, he co-founded Lancet Capital, a biomedical early stage venture capital fund, which is the seed investor in Stemnion. Prior to co-founding Lancet Capital, he served as Director of the Community Technology Fund, an early stage venture capital fund affiliated with the Boston Medical Center and Boston University. Mr. Golden has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

 

David Steed, M.D.

Vice President Clinical Development

Dr. Steed MD was formerly Professor of Surgery at the U. of Pittsburgh and Director of the Wound Healing/Limb Preservation Clinic. Dr. Steed was the principal investigator in the development of Regranex (Platelet Derived Growth Factor), the first growth factor to be FDA approved for wound healing. He has conducted over 30 clinical trials and authored more than 150 publications and was President of the Wound Healing Society and Clinical Editor for Wound Repair and Regeneration.  He is Chair of the Guidelines Committee for Diabetic Foot Ulcers (WHS) and on the panel for writing Guidelines for Venous Ulcers. 

 

Randall Rupp, Ph.D.

Vice President Manufacturing and Development

Dr. Rupp has wide-ranging experience in research, development, and manufacturing in the field of biotechnology. He has overseen the design and construction of several cGMP-quality facilities and has extensive experience working with the FDA. Prior to Stemnion, Dr. Rupp was the Senior VP of Manufacturing Operations at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. His experience includes research in diabetes therapies, as VP of R&D at Biohybrid Technology, Inc., and as Director of Cell Biology at Damon Biotech. Dr. Rupp has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas/M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute.
