Board of Directors
William J. Golden, CFA
Executive Chairman
Mr. Golden is a co-founder and
Executive Vice President of Stemnion. Prior to Stemnion,
he co-founded Lancet Capital, a
biomedical early stage venture capital fund, which is the seed
investor in Stemnion. Prior to co-founding Lancet Capital, he
served as Director of the Community Technology Fund, an early
stage venture capital fund affiliated with the Boston Medical
Center and Boston University. Mr. Golden has an MBA from Harvard
Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical
engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
John H. McArthur
Independent Director
Mr. McArthur brings more than 40 years of experience with healthcare and technology companies. He has served on the boards of GlaxoSmithKline plc; HCA Inc.; Teradyne Inc.; Rohm & Haas, Data General Co., Duke University Health Systems. Following the affiliation of Brigham and Women's and Massachusetts General Hospital, he was founding co-chair of the Board of Trustees of Partners HealthCare System, Inc. He currently chairs the Center for Surgery and Public Health at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Mr. McArthur was Dean of the Faculty at Harvard Business School from 1980-1995. He has held numerous corporate directorships, committee memberships and consulting posts at companies including Arvida Corporation, Chase Manhattan Corporation, Cabot Corporation and Bell Canada. From 1996 to 2005 he served as Senior Advisor to the President of The World Bank.
Donald J. Wagner, Sr.
Independent Director
Mr. Wagner is a member of the board
of directors of the
American Diabetes Association. He founded Cycam, Inc.
(MedSource Technologies) as a medical components supplier to
major medical products companies. In past years, he has
worked for Pfizer Pharmaceutical, TriState Machinery Co., Sweco,
Inc., and Dynamet, Inc. as a CEO, general manager and vice
president of sales and marketing. These positions involved
medical products, material science, research and development and
intellectual property. Mr. Wagner graduated from Gannon
University with a degree in Marketing/Management.
Terence C. Golden
Independent Director
Mr. Golden is Chairman of Bailey
Capital Corporation, an investment company. He chairs the
Federal City Council in Washington D.C., a non–profit
organization and has served as President/CEO of Host Marriott
Corp., Asst. Secretary of the Treasury and Administrator of the
General Services Administration. He was co-founder and
national managing partner of Trammell Crow Residential
Companies. Mr. Golden is a director of Host Marriott
Corp., Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) and The Morris and Gwendolyn
Cafritz Foundation. He has a BA from the U. of Notre Dame,
an M.S. from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
George L. Sing
Mr. Sing is a co-founder and CEO of
Stemnion. Prior to Stemnion, he co-founded Lancet Capital, a
biomedical early stage venture capital fund which is the seed
investor in Stemnion. Mr. Sing has served executive operating
roles in several technology-based companies as well as board
director of both private and public companies, and currently is
a director of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He was co-founding
Partner of Advanced Technology Ventures and Merrill Lynch Venture
Capital, Inc. Mr. Sing has an MBA from the Harvard Business
School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of
Technology.
